Trig/Pre-Cal Virtual Thursday 9/02/10

Aloha Upper Division Math Students!

Today your virtual assignment is a reflection written in a google document and shared with me.  In order to receive full credit on this assignment, you need to

  1. Write at least two paragraphs (Don’t write the question and then the answer next to it.  I want to see paragraphs that flow.)
  2. Use proper grammar (Use spell check and remember to capitalize correctly)
  3. Turn it in by midnight Thursday.

First, I want you to reflect on the test that you took yesterday.  How do you think you did on it?  What were some of the challenges that you had with the material?  If you feel that you could have done better, what would have helped you? Explain your answers.

Now, I want you to reflect on the last six weeks in math class.  What did you learn?  Which topics were review and which ones were new?  What were some of the challenges that you had with the topics? What were some of the challenges that you had in the class.  What were some of your successes in the class?

What are your goals for the next three weeks (until the end of the quarter) in the class?  What are your goals in this class for the second quarter?

This google doc reflection is to be emailed/shared with me by midnight Thursday.

My virtual office hours are 8:30am-11:30am and 1:00pm-3:00pm.

Junior Seminar on Friday: You will be going out for part of the time, so wear appropriate clothes.  You will be finishing your science/math labs for part of the time, so bring your write-ups that you started last Friday and a pen/pencil.

No school Monday! Cool

Have a good virtual day!
